Here's where you'll find the answers to a whole range of the most commonly asked questions we get asked.

Who can enter?

Anyone from an education establishment or a company that wishes to nominate someone else.

How much does it cost to enter?

Absolutely nothing!

How many categories can I enter?

As many as you like but you will need to submit an entry per category.

How much does it cost to attend the awards?

Prices vary depending on whether you book a table or not. You can find more information here

What is the entry process?

What format should the document be submitted in?

Entries are to be completed using the EPEA entry form. You can request a form here. We have tried to keep it as straight forward as possible for you. 

When can we submit our entry?

You can submit your entry any time between now and the closing date - 1 April 2016.  Entries will not be accepted after this date.

How do we enter?

What is the latest date we can submit our entry?

The closing date for the EPE Awards 2016 is 1 April 2016.  Entries will not be accepted after this date.

Who shortlists the entries?

A number of judges will be allocated a number of awards, they will then score each entry. The entries with the highest score will be shortlisted. 

When will we find out if we are finalists?

We plan to announce the shortlist for the 2016 awards in early May 2016.

What is the latest date to buy tickets?

Tickets are on a first come first served basis. There is no latest date as such, but we would recommend securing your tickets ASAP.

Are the submissions confidential?

Most definitely. As part of your award application we will ask you for a summary which can be included in the Book of the Night if you are shortlisted. No other information will ever be made public.

When are the winners announced?

Winners are announced on 16th June after dinner is served.

Who attends the awards?

There will be a variety of people from schools, suppliers and education establishments.

What size are the tables and are there discounts for booking a whole table?

Yes, you will receive a discount of 10% should you book the entire table which seats 10 people. 

When will I receive my ticket?

You will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of payment.

Who do I tell about a dietary requirement?

Please let us know of any dietary requirements ASAP via email

Where is the venue and how do I get there?

We are currently confirming the venue for the 2016 awards, but we hope they will again be held in the dining hall at Wellington College, Dukes Ride, Crowthorne, Berkshire, RG45 7PU. You can find directions here
