Both schools and suppliers are touted for decisions and mistakes that have resulted in an unfortunate situation for the school, but you don’t often hear about the successes.
We would like to change this mind set and we want to celebrate the successes. The Education Procurement Excellence Awards were founded last year and this is our opening year.
We promote excellence in procurement. We give the schools and suppliers that have succeeded a well-deserved pat on the back. We want to give them something to shout about and to be proud of!

"Delighted to have been selected as official media partner for 2015"
"Independent Executive is delighted to have been selected as official media partner at the Education Procurement Excellence Awards', primarily because the awards celebrate so much of the great work that bursars and school business managers do on a daily basis. As champions of those fulfilling these financial and managerial roles in schools, we look forward to learning more about the impressive finalists in the coming months!"
– Jess Pike, Editor, Independent Executive
"Excellence in procurement has never been more important than it is now"
"Excellence in procurement has never been more important than it is now, with tight constraints in the maintained sector and a strong drive to continue affordable independent education, I am thrilled to be able to help recognise the best elements in the sector through the Education Procurement Excellence Awards 2015."
– Noel Erskine
"Quality procurement might not always make the headlines, but its always the foundation for success"
"Much of our time is spent looking at our clients big picture; be it the excitement of the development scheme being proposed, the acquisition being added to the portfolio or the recovery plan to bring the school back into the black.
In all of these cases it is clear that a structured, high quality approach to procurement is a key part of the highs and a key driver of recovery from the lows and this is why we were delighted to be invited to get involved with the 2015 EPEAwards. Quality procurement might not always make the headlines, but its always the foundation for success."
– ES Group, now part of Lambert Smith Hampton
"We are all set for a wonderful evening!"
"Zenergi are privileged to have been chosen as the main sponsor for the Education Procurement Excellence Awards 2015. We always support these Education sector initiatives as much as we possibly can in line with our company ethos and especially as we understand our customers roles can be very isolated and unappreciated within the school operation. Everything from the venue at the wonderful Wellington College, the categories been recognised, to the format of the event itself looks like we are all set for a wonderful evening!"
